PrimeVoip Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules, restrictions, and guidelines governing the use of PrimeVoip services, systems, networks, websites, applications, and communication platforms. By using any PrimeVoip service, the customer, user, reseller, or partner agrees to comply with this AUP.

PrimeVoip reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of PrimeVoip services after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

2. Purpose of the Policy

The purpose of this AUP is to:

  • Ensure lawful and responsible use of PrimeVoip services;

  • Protect the integrity, security, and reliability of the PrimeVoip network;

  • Prevent fraud, abuse, harassment, and illegal activity;

  • Maintain service quality for all customers;

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and telecommunications standards.

3. Prohibited Activities

Users may not use PrimeVoip services for any activity that violates local, national, or international law, regulation, or industry standards.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

3.1 Illegal Use

  • Engaging in unlawful communications or activities;

  • Transmitting fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content;

  • Violating telecommunications regulations;

  • Facilitating criminal activity or unauthorized access.

3.2 Fraudulent or Abusive Calling

Users are strictly prohibited from:

  • Call pumping or traffic stimulation schemes;

  • Robocalling without proper legal consent;

  • Caller ID spoofing intended to mislead or defraud;

  • Toll fraud or unauthorized use of another user’s account;

  • Using automated dialing systems for spam or harassment;

  • Generating artificial traffic for financial gain.

3.3 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

Users may not:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, SMS, or voice broadcasts;

  • Conduct phishing or impersonation campaigns;

  • Deliver malware, spyware, or harmful software through PrimeVoip services.

3.4 Harassment and Abuse

PrimeVoip services may not be used to:

  • Threaten, harass, intimidate, or abuse others;

  • Distribute defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory content;

  • Violate privacy or confidentiality rights.

3.5 Network and System Abuse

Users may not:

  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt PrimeVoip infrastructure;

  • Circumvent security measures or authentication systems;

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or harmful scripts;

  • Perform denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or network scanning;

  • Exploit vulnerabilities in PrimeVoip systems.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials;

  • Ensuring authorized use of their accounts;

  • Securing their own equipment, devices, and networks;

  • Monitoring usage for suspicious or unauthorized activity;

  • Complying with all applicable telecommunications and privacy laws.

Customers must immediately notify PrimeVoip of any suspected fraud, unauthorized access, or security incident.

5. Fair Usage

PrimeVoip services are intended for legitimate business and personal communications. Excessive, abusive, or unreasonable usage that negatively impacts network performance or other users may result in service limitations or suspension.

PrimeVoip reserves the right to implement traffic management, usage controls, or temporary restrictions to maintain service quality and protect network stability.

6. Regulatory Compliance

Users agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Telecommunications laws;

  • Anti-spam regulations;

  • Consumer protection laws;

  • Data privacy and data protection regulations;

  • Emergency calling and lawful interception requirements where applicable.

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of PrimeVoip services complies with the laws of the jurisdictions in which they operate.

7. Monitoring and Enforcement

PrimeVoip reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. This may include monitoring usage patterns, reviewing complaints, and cooperating with law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required.

PrimeVoip may take any action deemed necessary to protect its network, services, customers, or legal interests, including:

  • Issuing warnings;

  • Suspending or restricting services;

  • Terminating accounts;

  • Blocking specific traffic or destinations;

  • Reporting unlawful conduct to authorities.

8. Suspension or Termination

PrimeVoip may suspend or terminate services immediately, without prior notice, if:

  • A user violates this AUP;

  • Fraudulent or illegal activity is suspected;

  • Customer activity threatens network integrity or security;

  • PrimeVoip is required to do so by law or regulatory authorities.

Users remain responsible for all charges incurred before termination or suspension.

9. Limitation of Liability

PrimeVoip shall not be liable for any damages, losses, interruptions, or liabilities arising from:

  • Enforcement of this AUP;

  • Service suspension or termination;

  • Unauthorized access to customer systems;

  • Third-party actions or network failures.

All services are provided subject to applicable service agreements and terms of service.

10. Reporting Violations

Customers and third parties may report violations of this AUP by contacting PrimeVoip support.

When reporting abuse, please provide:

  • Detailed description of the incident;

  • Relevant timestamps and phone numbers;

  • Supporting logs, screenshots, or evidence where available.

PrimeVoip will review all reports and take appropriate action where necessary.

11. Changes to This Policy

PrimeVoip reserves the right to update or modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the PrimeVoip website or customer portal.

Continued use of PrimeVoip services after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
